JioSign offers a free trial for new users. You can sign up and use it to sign your first 10 documents without any charges. After signing the first 10 documents, you’ll need to buy additional documents to keep using the service. The cost depends on the number of documents you buy. Each document credit will allow you to upload and get signatures for one document. It is not limited to how many signatures can be on the document. You have up to a year to use up the credits you bought, but you can always buy more if you run out.

3. What payment methods do you accept?
We strive to offer variety of convenient payment methods including UPI, Net Banking, credit/debit cards and popular mobile wallets.
4. What is a credit?
A term “credit’ is used to count how many documents or Aadhaar eSign signatures the user has or is buying. Credits are a flexible way to purchase document signing and Aadhaar eSign services within the platform. When you buy credits, you’re essentially pre-paying for a certain number of documents completed or Aadhaar signings, allowing you to use them as needed.
5. Can other users in my Business Account use my credits?
Yes, credits purchased for your JioSign Business Account are shared among all team members within that account.
6. Do the credits expire?
The typical validity is 365 days from purchase which means you have one year to use the credits you bought. You will be notified if you start running out of credits as well as when your credits are about to expire.
7. Someone sent me a document to sign, I don’t have JioSign credits, and I don’t want to pay for it. What should I do?
On JioSign the document sender (Document Owner’s account) is responsible for having the credit needed to sign the document. If someone sent you a document to sign, the credit will be used from their JioSign account.
8. Can I get a refund if I don’t use all my credits?
We don’t offer refunds on purchased credits. JioSign credits validity of 365 days from the day of purchase and you have one full year to use the credits.
9. How do I check my remaining credits?
You can find Credits and Billing page from JioSign profile menu. Here you can get an overview of your Document and Aadhaar eSign credits – used, blocked and remaining – and get a detailed usage report.
10. What does it mean if my credits are blocked but not used?
JioSign reserves one credit per document whenever it is sent for signing, regardless of the number of signatures required. These credits are shown as “Blocked” and blocked credit ensures a smooth signing process. The credit is consumed once all signatures are done, and the full document is signed.
11. What happens if I run out of credits while signing a document?
You don’t need to worry about running out of credit while signing, because we pre-allocate credits. When document owner uploads a document and sends it for signing, we automatically block one credit from document owner’s account. This blocked credit ensures a smooth signing experience regardless of the credit balance of any signatory, and the signing process can be completed without any credit-related interruptions. The blocked credit is only consumed once all signatories have finished signing the document.
12. Is there a minimum number of documents I need to purchase?
You’re not required to purchase a minimum number of credits. We cater to various signing needs, so you can start with a single document credit if that’s all you require. But keep in mind, that the more you buy in one go, the better the price.
13. Can I upgrade if I need more documents later?
You can always buy more documents and Aadhaar eSign credits, be it when you run out or to accommodate an increasing need. But keep in mind, that the more you buy in one go, the better the price.
14. Are there any hidden fees or charges?
We prioritize simplicity and transparency. You just for what you need – documents signed and Aadhaar eSigns performed. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges beyond the price you see at the time of purchase.
15. How secure is my payment information?

You will find usage tracking under the “Credits and Billing” page within your JioSign account. The “Usage” section clearly displays your credit usage history, with details like the credit type, number of credits used for which document, by whom and the date of usage.
18. Can I set up recurring payments or auto-replenish my credits?

We acknowledge this might be a convenient feature for some users, and our product team is actively exploring ways to improve the credit system in the future.

You will find invoices under the “Credits and Billing” page within your JioSign account. The billing history section will provide details of your recent purchases and link to related invoices. Please note that billing history shows invoices for purchases done on the JioSign platform. If your additional credits were applied through the JioSign sales team, please send your request through the JioSign feedback form.
21. How many times can I sign one document with one document credit?
Each document credit will allow the document owner to upload and get signatures for one document. This credit covers the entire signing process, and it is not limited to how many signatures can be on the document. One signed document will use up one credit, no matter if it has one or more signatures.
22. Can I use a document credit for multiple documents?
No, JioSign allocates document credits on a per-document basis. In essence, each document sent for signing requires its own document credit, you cannot use a single credit for multiple documents.
Here’s how it works:
- Single Credit per Document: When a document is sent for signatures, JioSign blocks one document credit specifically for that document
- Credit Consumption Upon Completion: The blocked credit is only consumed once the signing process for that specific document is complete. This includes all signatories completing signatures successfully.
23. What is the difference between document credits and Aadhaar eSign credits?
JioSign offers two credit options to cater to your specific signing needs:
- Document credits: Each document credit will allow the document owner to upload and get signatures for one document. This credit covers the entire signing process, and it is not limited to how many signatures can be on the document.
- Aadhaar eSign Credits: Each Aadhaar eSign credit will allow any person to perform one eSign signature on the document. If document owner uploads a document and invites someone to sign with Aadhaar eSign, their signature will consume one of document owner’s Aadhaar eSign credits.
Please note that if a document requires Aadhaar eSignatures, then signing this document will consume both one document credit and one Aadhaar eSign credit for each Aadhaar eSign signature performed. For example, if you need to sign a document with two Aadhaar eSign signatures, the process will consume one document credit and two Aadhaar eSign credits in the process.
24. Can I use the same credits for regular and Aadhaar signatures?
You don’t need specific credits for regular eSignatures. If your document doesn’t require any Aadhaar eSign signatures– for example only OTP-based eSignature is used – you need just one document credit to sign the full document, no matter how many times eSignature is added to this document.
You need additional credits only for Aadhaar eSign.
25. Can I use the same Aadhaar credit multiple times (for different people) if I use it on the same document?
No, you can’t use the same Aadhaar credit multiple times for different people on the same document. Each Aadhaar eSign credit will allow any person to perform one eSign signature on your document. If you upload a document and invite someone to sign with Aadhaar eSign, their signature will consume one of your Aadhaar eSign credits.
26. What if my document requires both regular and Aadhaar signatures?
JioSign doesn’t impose additional charges for regular signatures beyond Aadhaar eSign signatures. JioSign’s credit system caters to this scenario efficiently:
- Document Credit: You’ll only be charged one document credit to initiate the signing process for the entire document, regardless of the number of signatories or signature types.
- Aadhaar eSign Credits: Each Aadhaar eSign signature used on the document will consume one Aadhaar eSign credit from your account.
For example, if you need to sign a document with two Aadhaar eSign signatures, the process will consume one document credit and two Aadhaar eSign credits in the process.
27. What happens if I run out of Aadhaar eSign credits but still have document credits?
If your Aadhaar eSign credits are depleted but you have document credits remaining, you can still send documents for signing using other signature methods. The availability of document credits isn’t impacted by your Aadhaar eSign credit balance.
